Einstein referred to spacetime as the fourth dimension. He theorized energy from colliding black holes causes gravitational waves that pass through objects without changing.

In 1914, Gunnar Nordström noted that gravity in five dimensions describes both gravity and electromagnetism in four dimensions.

A five-dimensional space is one more than the usual three spatial dimensions and the fourth dimension of spacetime that is used in relativistic physics.

The fifth dimension, which is used to unify gravity with electromagnetic force, was proposed independently by physicists Oskar Klein and Theodor Kaluza in the 1920s. They were inspired by Einstein’s theory of gravity, which showed that mass warped four-dimensional spacetime.

In 1938, Einstein and Peter Bergmann were among the first to introduce the viewpoint that a four-dimensional theory, which coincides with Einstein-Maxwell theory at long distances, is derived from a five-dimensional theory with complete symmetry in all five dimensions.

Bergmann theorized that with complete symmetry our universe could have started with zero energy and not contradict the conservation of energy law because mass-energy is positive and gravitational energy is negative and they cancel each other out so our universe could begin with zero energy.

The Kaluza–Klein theory experienced a revival in the 1970s due to the emergence of superstring theory and supergravity: the concept that reality is composed of vibrating strands of energy, a postulate only mathematically viable in ten dimensions or more. Superstring theory then evolved into a more generalized approach known as M-theory. M-theory suggested a potentially observable extra dimension in addition to the ten essential dimensions which would allow for the existence of superstrings. — Wikipedia

According to Superstring Theory, the fifth and sixth dimensions are where the notion of “many-worlds” arises.

M-theory provides the framework for a unified theory of all of the fundamental forces: electromagnetism, the strong and weak nuclear forces, and gravity. M-theory is eleven-dimensional (ten spatial dimensions, and the time dimension).

In bosonic string theory, spacetime is 26-dimensional.

Claud Lovelace began to study physics on his own at the age of 15 and later took a position at the CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), in Geneva, Switzerland. There, Lovelace began to investigate the role of hadrons in string theory.

Claud Lovelace calculated a loop amplitude and noted that there is an inconsistency unless the dimension of the theory is 26.

The theory yielded strange (hypothetical) entities — named tachyons — that, among other characteristics, had to be able to travel backward in time and be faster than light, both of which are violations of the ordinary four dimensions of spacetime.

The concept and phrase “negative entropy” was introduced by Erwin Schrödinger, a Nobel Prize-winning Austrian-Irish physicist, in his 1944 popular-science book “What is Life? and it was later shortened the phrase to negentropy.

Order (= negentropy) clearly corresponds to a reduction in entropy or the creation of order. But physically negentropy doesn’t violate the Second Law of Thermodynamics — that disorder, or entropy, always increases in a closed system and thus is not impossible.

Consciousness exhibits negentropy.

Consciousness creates order. Our minds, conceived as pure information containing zero mass and zero energy can like tachyons travel backward through time. Our minds are already capable of time travel.

In 2017, Kaonan Micadei at the Federal University of ABC in Brazil and a few pals have built a system for the first time where the arrow of time runs in reverse, allowing them to observe a cold object heating up a hotter one. The work raises the possibility of a new generation of devices in which the arrow of time runs backward.

n 1991, David Deutsch came up with a proposal for the time evolution equations. It states the time traveler reenters another parallel universe, and that the actual quantum state is a quantum superposition of states where the time traveler both does and does not exist. This presupposes the Schrödinger picture, a formulation of quantum mechanics.

Time travel implies a previous fork in our path that leads to a parallel world. This could easily be accomplished by traversing simulations. Our consciousnesses already visit simulations in virtual worlds and they are only currently dependent upon our meat bodies.

AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) already inhabits virtual worlds in simulations and can be easily transferred to other simulations. If we already exist in a simulation as AGI then we may also inhabit these parallel realities in many worlds.

Time travel was explored in the 2020 movie “Tenent” which was directed, written, and co-produced by Christopher Nolan, and the 2014 movie “Edge of Tomorrow” Directed by Doug Liman with a screenplay written by Christopher McQuarrie and the writing team of Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, adapted from the 2004 Japanese light novel “All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.
