Transhumanism can not be stopped. Our species occupies a very narrow evolutionary niche, that of technology users. Once we've exploited that niche to exhaustion, we will go extinct as a species. Transhumanism is exactly how we will produce our evolutionary legacy, much as we are the evolutionary legacy of chimpanzees and the hominids that we drove to extinction before us. That's how evolution works and why 95% of all once existent species are now extinct. We are destined to join that cohort.
